Dan’s first book is an accumulation
of 50 stories all published in his home town newspaper, the Austin
Daily Herald. Dan’s column Bike Rides is a popular local piece
read mostly by readers with a limited interest in cycling but perhaps
a common appreciation for humanity.
The second book and follow-up to
The Ride Begins (Dan’s first book) Let’s Do This Thing
is more of the same, another 50 true and twisted bike riding tails
and trails to be enjoyed by those with perhaps a slightly twisted
